For clients in the diaspora

Building at home while you live abroad

You are not there to check the work, and that is exactly what makes it risky. We run remote builds the way we run every build — documented stage by stage, so you can see what went into your house instead of taking someone's word for it.

What actually worries people

Four fears, and what we do about them

Every diaspora client we speak to raises some version of these. They are reasonable fears — plenty of people have been burned.

“The money disappears and the build never moves.”

You pay against completed stages, not against promises. Each stage is photographed and reported before the next one is invoiced, so money follows work rather than leading it.

“They will cut corners because I cannot see the site.”

The stages that get cut are the buried ones — foundation depth, reinforcement, ring beams. Those are exactly the stages we photograph and document before they are covered.

“I will be charged for materials that never arrived.”

Quantities are verified against what was quoted and recorded on delivery. You see the count, not just the invoice.

“I cannot get a straight answer about progress.”

One point of contact, a scheduled weekly update, and honest reporting when something slips — including when it is our fault.

How you stay across it

You will see more of this build than most owners who live down the road

We already document builds publicly — 565K+ views worth. Your build gets the same treatment, sent privately to you.

How it runs

From first call to handover

  1. 01

    We talk before you commit

A call on your timezone. Send the plans, the stand details, or photos of a build that has stalled. We tell you what the job actually involves — including if the answer is that you should not start yet.

  2. 02

    You get an itemised quote

Broken down by stage and material, so you can see exactly what you are paying for and compare it honestly against anyone else's number.

  3. 03

    Work starts, stage by stage

Site clearing, foundations, slab, brickwork, ring beam, roof, finishes. Each stage inspected and signed off before the next one covers it.

  4. 04

    You see it every week

Photographic progress reports over WhatsApp — the same documentation you can already see us publish publicly. Video walkthroughs on request.

  5. 05

    Handover and snagging

A full snag list, worked through and closed out. If you are flying in for handover, we plan the programme around your dates.

Judge us on the stages, not the sales pitch

These are the same stages that will be photographed on your build.
